Scan21 – Age ID Check (“the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information with external servers. Specifically:

Camera Access: The App uses your device’s camera only to scan barcodes printed on issued IDs. The scanned data is processed locally on your device and is not stored or sent anywhere.
Local Storage: The App uses your device’s local storage to keep track of scan counts (e.g., number of successful and failed scans). This data remains on your device and is erased only if you uninstall or clear app data.

To determine whether a scanned ID meets the minimum age requirement (e.g., 21+).
To display local scan statistics (successful and unsuccessful attempts).

We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party. All data remains on your device.

The App is intended for use by businesses and individuals verifying age (e.g., liquor stores, clubs). It is not designed for children under 13.

Since all processing happens on your device, no personal data is transmitted over the internet.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
